Yay, First Comic Alright everyone, the comic is up! I think I will try to update Salvation on Thursdays. If I can, I would like to update on Mondays also.

This is my first time using the burn/dodge tools for shading and hilighting, I'll get better. I didn't realize until last night how much of a disability not having full Photoshop is. Sorry for the sketchy lines, but I can't do them straight *shrugs*

Hope you enjoy :D

EDIT (Jan. 21, 2009):

Forgive the suckiness of these first few (*cough* 14 *cough*) comics you may see. I do get better, I'll promise you that.

Great job Nice job, Joseph. It looks very good. At least there is no smiley boy.

Wow... AN AUTOMOBILE WTF NIIIIICE!

Nice that you finally started a site for it, and that I actually have a real reason to read the first one. Brings up some questions, though...

Ah, just pointing something out to help you in the future: when he's at the doors, you can fully see him, save for the middle. No reflection of light or anything, and he looks the same. Just pointing it out for you to practice some things and for the future ones to be better, ya know?

Yeah, an automobile... I'll do more eventually....

I need books on how to draw cars.

I know he looks the same. I couldn't decide on the shading to use, so I didn't use one.

Okay...

Hm... I keep thinking Smudge, but that wouldn't work... Dodge is the only idea, or maybe Burn, but idk

Negative Zero, 17 Oct 2008 15:37 pm

Yeah, it's my second foray into the world of burning and dodging. See my scraps in DA for the first if you're interested.

Eh It was pretty good, but it seemed a little... sloppy. you know, non-professional.

Negative Zero, 24 Oct 2008 15:05 pm

It was the first one... Dude, it was the first one... what do you expect. That was my second time using burn/dodge tools, and the first comic was so long it had to be done on two separate sheets of paper.

Quite teh dramatic entrance, for a not so dramatic character heh ^w^
